Quebec officially Quebec Federal Democratique et Libre is a sovereign country located in North America who gained independence from Canada on October 30, 1995
following a landslide victory of independentism in the referendum convoked then. It is the largest French-speaking country in America as well as one of the largest in the world. Since the independence, Quebec reached a superb economic and social development, dodgering a crisis in the first lustrum of 1990s.Geography
Climate
Due to climate change and global warming, the weather in Québec has changed dramatically as a result of snowmelt. From the 2030s onwards, snowfall in winter and rain in summer became rare phenomena. Today, most of Québec's territory is located under a humid subtropical climate, with cool or mild winters and hot, dry summers. In January, the coolest month, the average is 15.6 °C (60.1 °F), while the hottest month is July with an average of 29.7 °C (85.5 °F) in the country's capital.
