Silvers Island is a territory of Meridon, comprising of Silvers Island and a few smaller local islands. It is bordered to the north by Redbird Territory, to the east by Taikorea and the Eastern Islands Territory, and to the west by Mahine Territory. Silvers Island's capital and largest city is is Radenton.
Silvers Island was inhabited by native Tangaran tribes prior to the arrival of European explorers, and was settled primarily by fishers capitalizing on the large presence of fish schools to the south and east of the island. Silver's Island was hotly contested during the Colonial Wars for this reason. While Silver's Island has been primarily home to fishing and agricultural pursuits including logging, it has seen a growth of service and industry economies in recent decades, including in tourism. Much of inland Silvers Island is forested, which contributes to the large scale logging operations undertaken there.
