Mychenar, (Αλθαϊκ Μπασιλιάν: Μυκαλιμονίας [pronounced: [mˌa͡ɪkɐlɪmˈo͡ʊni͡ə]) is a country in west-central Kalavik. It is the most populous country in Kalavik, with the Ok'lizuza Empire following. Mychenar covers approximately 775,280 square kilometers (299,337.281 square miles) with a population of approximately 12.4 million Mykalimonians. Mychenar directly borders the Ok'lizuza Empire to the north and indirectly borders Eldiastan to the south. The Empire of Mychenar has recently converted to a matriarchal monarchy with the recent Statute of Succession, which states that all monarchs shall be female effective immediately. Alioth is the capital and largest city named after the first Emperor Alioth Alsephine, with other major cities being Isvalan, Lakizya, and Dorenca
Etymology
The universal word of Mychenar derives from the Mykalimonian Mykanar, which came into use after Emperor Jaxon Althaeon adopted it for the people of early-Mychenar. The Althaeic Mykalimonian term Mykanar, originally Myka nar ('the lands of Myka') is derived from Mykalis, who's the Goddess of the Stars and Time in Mykalimonian religion and a prominent figure in proto-Mykalimonian history.
