Reichsschiff Bettner is a aircraft carrier obtained by the government of Ostlichtor from the Naval Forces of the Soviet Order following the conclusion of the Omandan Continental War in March of 1994. Currently, the vessel is the titular flagship of the Seestreitkräfte following some minor renovations and refits which occured between 1994 and 1999. The vessel was commissioned by the Seestreitkräfte in 2001.

The Bettner was originally built by the Vakya Shipyard in Transnapastain and commissioned in the Naval Forces of the Soviet Order as the Krasnyy Marsh, or Red March, named for the 1867 popular revolution that ushered the Transnapastaini Soviet Socialist Republic into being. The vessel, launched in 1970, saw extensive service during the Omandan Continental War, and was damaged, often significantly, during several operations, but was never sunk, earning her the nickname Krasnyy Vechnyy (Red Eternal) from her crew, and was used extensively as a propaganda piece by the Ministry of Culture.

In June of 1993, the Krasnyy Marsh was severely damaged in an naval engagement and, unable to return to Transnapastain for repairs, instead sought refuge in the port of Hoffnung. The Soviet Order government requested assistance from its nominal ally, the Größeresöstliches Reich in repairing the vessel. In December of 1993, a strategic nuclear exchange erupted between the Soviet Order and the Republic of Licana, resulting in extreme devastation to both sides, effectively ending the Omandan Continental War. The Krasnyy Marsh, still in port in Hoffnung, was appropriated by the government of Ostlichtor in June of 1994, and recommissioned as the Reichsschiff Bettner in 2001.

Today, the Bettner remains the titular flagship of the Seestreitkräfte, though the vessel has not left port since 2017. Though information regarding the current status of the vessel is scant, and not public knowledge within Ostlichtor, foreign intelligence sources claim the vessel is currently not operational, or is undergoing to second refit and repair cycle. It is widely believed that the vessel has been neglected since 2014 due to the inordinate amount of money required to maintain the aging vessel and the limited resoruces alloted to the Seestreitkräfte by the Reichstreitkräfte.
