Aquitayne has one of the highest number of diplomatic missions in Astyria, including over 100 bilateral posts (embassies and consulates) in over 50 countries as well as five permanent missions to international organizations. The Foreign Office maintains "interest sections" (in other states' embassies) in Red River, Kwalawi, Gautenga, Valle Crucis, and Romberg.
History
In 1734, Aswick became the first nation to seek diplomatic relations with the newly-independent Aquitayne, and together remain Aquitayne's longest unbroken treaty.
