The Senate of Delamaria is the upper house of the Parliament of Delamaria. It is made up of elected members, members appointed by the Prime Minister or sovereign, or hereditary members. Hereditary senators are also called peers.
Composition
The senate is composed of three distinct groups, elected members, life members, and hereditary members. There are 25 life members, who are appointed by the King on advice of parliament, 100 elected members, and 25 hereditary members.
