"Heil dir im Siegerkranz" is the Imperial anthem of the Englean Emperor and National anthem of the Englean Kaiserreich. The origins of the song are unclear, but it is known that the lyrics were created as a poem showing favour to the Englean emperor in 1754 by a P. F. von Steinhausen. In 1850 the song was adopted by the House of Hohenzern as the official anthem of the Emperor and in 1852 the song was officially adopted for the nation as a whole, serving alongside Des Engleanischen Vaterland as the official anthem of the empire.
