Ema Avila is a Aisling socialite and the first daughter of Vitor Antón Avila (Avlia VII), the Emperador of Temuair. She is currently serving in the Imperial Navy of Temuair.
Early life
Ema became interested in flight at an early age. At the age of 11, her father arranged for her to take flying lessons, and by 14, Ema had flown several cross country flights, including two solo flights.
She completed high school requirements in 2013 at the age of 17, though she was schooled by private tutors and did not actually attend high school. Her CAPAT (College Aptitude, Preparedness, and Admissions Test) scores where within the top 3 percent of all tested teens between 17 and 19. She enrolled in classes at De Andrade Univeristy, where she graduated in 2017 with a bachelors of science in engineering.
Career
Ema entered the Imperial Air Force of Temuair in 2017 at the age of 21 and completed a 12-week Office Candidate School program before being commissioned as an Guardiamarina in the Imperial Navy. Following completion of OCS, she took the Naval Aviation Aptitude Test and was accepted into flight training for rotary wing aircraft. Already in possession of a flight certification, she bypassed the Navy's basic flying course, and was instead shifted directly to the Navy's introduction to naval aviation course held at Naval Air Station Lience . She also completed primary flight training as well as helicopter training at NAS Lience. She completed flight training in August of 2018. She reported for duty with the 22nd Naval Training Squadron for further training and to await an assignment.
In December of 2018, she was selected for duty as a secondary flight officer aboard the BNA Ascendencia, a Killeen-class helicopter cruiser.
Following the retirement of the BNA Ascendencia, Ema was assigned to the helicopter cruiser, a Bielba-class vessel assgined to the Imperial Navy's Third Fleet, stationed at Gran Porto, Leónidade. In addition, upon her transfer, she was promoted to the rank of Teniente de Navío and is assigned to the vessels antisubmarine warfare squadron as a primary flight officer.
