The Akanovan Interest Committee in Calagains was an organization within the Calagains Federal Government, specifically within the Calagains Colonial Council. The Committee consisted of both K'vari Severibi and Akanovan Federal Territories politicans that were sent to the planet of Calagains before the Calagains Colonial Vote. The Akanovan Interest Committee was handled by Azriani Sidamon and his Pormireba on orders of Levan Meshki and was headquartered temporarily in the city of Ozuriani. Established for a year, the Committee dedicated its efforts to metropolitan areas that had been constructed and profited, including Arshusha and North Sukhami.
The results of the Colonial Vote allowed the Akanovan Federal Territories to set up governments within the three metropolitan areas. The Akanovans had lost significant resource-rich territory to both the Akaniti Vardoni Society and the Akanuul P'olit'niri, but controlled all established major exporting areas. The Committee was reduced to a skeleton crew of politicans on the onset of 2310, and was later that year disestablished with the Calagains Colonial Council, replaced by the Calagains Confederal Council.
