August Epoch is a Vitosian drum and bass band founded in 2005. The group is notable for its distinctive sound, mixing electronic music with hard rock and covering a wide range of genres including industrial rock and electronic rock.

History

The band was founded by Cody Ericksson and Johnny Corvas who were in college at the time in 2005 for music theory. They had approached graphic design student, Griffin Araiva, having listened to his voice during a college festival. At the beginning, the three of them had planned to be a hard rock group but upon hearing them practice, Alec Dobrescu and Jade Morley offered to help out with their sound and were invited to join the band one month later.
