The Nişan De Onur is a Sharifistani form of knighthood
History The Nişan De Onur was introduced in 1928, six years after the establishment of the Sultanate of Sharifistan. Men awarded the honour have, since then, been entitled to be called Sipahi whilst women who received the honour have been entitled to be called Khanum.
