The President of Vierzland, officially the President of the Vierz Federation (Vierz: Präsident der Vierzische Föderation), was the ceremonial head of state of Vierzland from its creation in 1992 to its formal abolition in 1998. The office was created with the intention to replace the role of the Emperor of Vierzland, which had been abolished in 1990. The first and only officeholder was Heinrich Werner from 1992 to 1997.
The president had few de facto and de jure powers, and was primarily responsible for performing ceremonial duties and acting as a "stabilizing force" in the event of emergency. Heinrich Werner ran unopposed in the 1992 elections for the office, winning with 95.6% of the vote. He resigned with the completion of his first term in 1997 and no one ran as his replacement, leaving the office vacant until its controversial abolition by constitutional amendment in February 1998.
