Franz George of Saxe-Wettin-Einhalt was the Marquess of Drayglossop and Head of the Saxoner House of Saxe-Wettin-Einhalt. He was the first member of that house to hold a noble title since Duke George II of Saxondale was deposed in 1854 following the War of the Vionnan Coalition and his lands bestowed upon Lord Loughton and later House Handower. Franz died of lung cancer in 2014 and is buried in Saxondale Cathedral. His daughter, Hana, is his heir and successor.
As a Naval officer, Franz held the rank of Commodore by the time of his death and served in the Imperial-Belvanian Crisis, the Prodavan Sovereignty Crisis and the Abbas Crisis. He was the youngest serving officer in the Abbas Crisis.
