Tasaku Mitsuru (Mitsuru Tasaku, 22 October 1889 - 20 March 1983) was Rubrumian military officer who served during the First Europan War and the Second Europan War. He was also a military instructor in the Military Academy of Calgary where he was the teacher of three future Rubrumian generals and one Jutlander general; Murasame Susaya (who would later be the advisor to his student during EWII), Sagaru Yamada, Guy Callard, and Jutlander Allone Grønkjær. He would eventually serve as one of Rubrum's leading commanders in the Joyonghean theatre in the Second Europan War, acting as the adviser to his three students. Mitsuru was also known for his small force tactics where he would utilize smaller numbers in order to gain the upper hand, a skill he had developed and mastered since he became Captain during the First Europan War.

Mitsuru had been recommended for promotion to General several times but had it turned down in favour of nourishing and teaching his students to command and build their reputation.

He eventually retired after the war and opened a retail supermarket in Lucis Colombia. Mitsuru's supermarket became well-known in the region and would soon expand throughout the country.
