Tidus Hayakawa (18 August 1986) is a Zanarkian officer currently serving as the 26th Governor-General of Zanarkand and the Besaid Islands.
A graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Zanarkand, Hayakawa first served during the Second Lucis Civil War commissioned as a Lieutenant under the 1st Zanarkian Division. His resourcefulness in combat attracted the attention of his commanding officers. His leadership and resourcefulness in combat raised him further into the ranks until he became a Brigadier in 2012, the youngest general in the Zanarkian Defence Force. He rose to prominence following the 2014 Trans-Bellhals Crisis in which his handling of Zanarkian forces stationed in New Akiba up against a show of force against a platoon of Ingelmian Patrol Boats. This caused him to receive a promotion to a full General.
He was named as Zanarkand's next Governor-General after Sir Auron Suzuki.
