The Vechad-class destroyers were a class of Destroyers built by the Republic of Syara in the 1920s. Like many Syaran destroyers they were larger than most foreign counter-parts and more heavily armed. The Vechad-class was designed as convoy and fleet escorts and saw extensive service as that role during the Siduri War. A total of 60 were planned, only two of which were never completed. The remaining 58 served throughout the Sundering Sea Campaign and the Nuadan Campaign, where a total of 33 were lost over the course of the conflict. Some of the surviving vessels were retained by the post-war Syaran navy before being decommissioned in 1942.
