Michel Lukonde (born 7 January 1945) is an Apatonian politician who served as the Prime Minister of Apatonia since 2018. He previously served as an MP in the nation's parliament as the head of the Democratic Alliance after Mlamuli Ngotsha left the caucus and joined the ANU. In September 2021, his powers were suspended by President Ngotsha during an offensive by LDF rebels, which created division in the federal government along the lines of Lukonde supporters and Ngotsha loyalists. In January of 2022 he led a coup against President Ngotsha, who was thrown into exile and sought asylum in Qolaysia, and Lukonde became the de-facto ruler of Apatonia. However, a military intervention by Unified Sera forced Lukonde out of power, and he fled over the border into Thezu before flying to Elastan where he was granted exile.
