The president of the Sloverti Republicis the head of state of Slovertia and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. The president is directly elected by the people for five years, and can be elected for a maximum of two consecutive terms. The presidency is largely a ceremonial office, but the president does exercise certain limited powers with absolute discretion. The president's official residence is the Centrálny palác in Brativas

Election
The president of Slovertia is elected by the people of Slovertia for a term of five years and can be reelected once after theor initial election. The president is elected through universal sufferage. During presidential elections the candidate with an absolute majority is elected. Sloverti oresidential elections have happened consistently since 1948. Any Sloverti citizen over the age of 18 has the absolute roght to vote in Sloverti presidential elections.

The President of Slovertia is the head of state of the Sloverti republic. The President is responsible for the appointment of the Prime Minister of Slovertia. The President also redides over the state opening of the National Assembly. The President is the head of the Sloverti armed forces and represents Slovertia on the international stage.
