Auspicious Mouse Kingdom
The Auspicious Mouse Kingdom (Mouse-Bear Language: 吉祥鼠王國; Jíxiáng shǔ wángguó) is a sovereign nation located in Easternium, bordering the Arctic Bear Empire to the north, the Grand Tiger Dynasty to the south and having a maritime border with the Enlightened Crane Kingdom. The Auspicious Mouse Kingdom is the homeland of the Mice, and shares the language of Mouse-Bear Language with the Bears and the Bear Empire. The capital of the Auspicious Mouse Kingdom is Hejing.
The territory of the Auspicious Mouse Kingdom has been inhabited by the Bears, Mice and Cranes during the Era of the Tribe. The first official state that existed in the area was Xiongshu, a unified tribal state run by both the Bears and the Mice under the Bear-Mouse King Ming Jin and the Jin Council. The Xiongshu, after three centuries of rule, fell apart during the Qing Peninsula War and reformed as the Jin Empire. The Jin Empire subsequently fell apart in an invasion by the Celestial Empire, where both the Mice and Bears sere subjugated by the Dragons.
The Auspicious Mouse Kingdom came a millennia after the initial subjugation during the Spiritual Mouse Rebellion, which later evolved into the Celestial Revolution. Jian Li proclaimed himself to be the Auspicious King and claimed his rule as the leader of the rebellion was blessed by the ethnic god, Zuilao, a figure of The Zodiac. Jian Li and his followers from the Spiritual Mouse Rebellion were tasked as one of the three races that would be in charge of keeping the Yellow Spirits in balance. In the aftermath of the Imperial Supernova and the collapse of the Celestial Empire, Jian Li founded the city of Hejing, which served as the first capital of the Mouse Kingdom. The Mouse Kingdom would later encounter the Polar Bear Empire to the north while following the Red River. The convergence of the expanding races would come to accord and create the Seven Nations Accord, entering the world into the Era of the Great Peace.
The Auspicious Mouse Kingdom was invaded in 985 by the Polar Bear Empire after the rise of the Polar Bear Emperor Xueli, who declared the Seven Accord invalid and began the Invasion of the Mouse Kingdom, ushering in the Era of the Frozen Forests. During this time, the Auspicious Mouse Kingdom entered a disasterous famine due to the Polar Bear Invasion disrupting the balance of Baizhu and Heizhu and causing a flash freeze during the harvest. This also included the freezing of the Red River.
