Alliluya[d] (/ælɪˈljə/; Russian: Аллилуйя; Russian pronunciation: [ɐlʲɪˈlujə]) is a partially-recognised[e] theocratic anarchist breakaway country in Siberia. It is one of the nations that seceded from Russia following the collapse of the Russian Federation in 2023, and is led by Alliluya Fyodorova, whom religious Alliluyans claim to be the incarnation of God the Daughter. Alliluya does not have a state nor a government, except for the Council to the Nations which represents the country in international relations. Instead, the country functions as a collection of several connected communes which Fyodorova leads.

Alliluya has an estimated population of around 350,000 and an area of 77,777 square kilometres (30,030 sq mi). It borders the Russian Federation to the west and the Eastern Republic, a partially-recognised Russian breakaway state, to the east. Alliluya's geography is centred around its largest city, Yakutsk, and the Lena river which flows through the country. With a boreal climate, 42% of Alliluya's land area is covered in taiga.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 Because Alliluya does not have a central government nor legislation, there are no national symbols that are officially recognised by law. The symbols featured in this article reflect those most widely used by the populace of Alliluya.
  2. The terms "Alliluyan national" and "religious Alliluyan" are used to distinguish between the citizens of the country and the religious followers of Alliluya Fyodorova. Other terms for Alliluyans nationals include "national Alliluyans", "Alliluyan citizens", and "geographical Alliluyans".
  3. Alliluya operates mostly on a non-monetary economy. However, Russian rubles, United States dollars, and precious metals such as gold are sometimes used as a currency in informal exchanges, though they are not produced within the country.
  4. According to Alliluya Fyodorova, the leader of the nation, Alliluya is the preferred English-language name for the nation. It acts under the name of the People of Alliluya, represented by the Council to the Nations, in international affairs. Hallelujah and Alleluia are alternate romanisations of the Russian-language name. It is also referred to as the Alliluyan Kingdom of God, the State of Alliluya, the Heavenly Kingdom of Alliluya, the Communities of Alliluya, the Heavenly Kingdom of God on Earth, and His Heavenly Kingdom on Earth.
  5. Alliluya is recognised by 50 out of 193 UN member states, including all members of the European Union and NATO.
