Parmilo is the largest city in the Independent Republic of Boldonia. It is the cultural and financial capital of Boldonia.
History
Parmilo was first settled by Spanish settlers in 1879, however it was officially incorporated in 1900 by the United States. In the early year Parmilo started to grow, but was overshadowed by Boldonia City. During the Great Depression Boldonia was hardly hit compared to other parts of the world, and Parmilo would see massive growth.
During The Second World War Parmilo would be captured by the Japanese along with the rest of Boldonia. A resistance would form to fight back the occupation until 1944 when US forces returned and recaptured Parmilo during the Battle of Parmilo.
After the war Parmilo would see massive growth, with the Parmilo metropolitan area becoming more populous than the Boldonian Capital Territory in 1967. This growth would only increase further during the 70s and 80s with this period being referred to as the Golden Age of Parmilo. In 1984 the City of Parmilo Beach would join with Parmilo bringing the population up even more. After Boldonian independence the Independence Rush would bring in an influx of population eventually bringing Parmilo to overtake Boldonia City. In late November 2022 Palm County announced that the City of Parmilo would be consolidating with Palm County to create Parmilo-Palm County.
