Paul Jo (born September 8, 1979), known professionally as Ezb (stylized as eẔb), is a Seketese-Trjebian rapper, songwriter and actor.

Born in the Trjebian district of Zynybec, Ezb got his start within the burgeoning underground scene. In 2004 he was signed by Ejiksa Records and released his debut album ẒỴṆỴ. In 2014 he left Ejiksa to make his own studio, Big Treb Labels..

Ezb is widely seen as one of the most influential Trjebian artists and rappers, and is credited with helping spread Trjebian rap to the lake region of Seketan.

Early life

Ezb was born in the Szjedor neighbourhood of of Zynybek, a majority Trjebian speaking district. His family was impoverished, with his father working as a mechanic, welder, plumber, and grocery attendant during his life. First introduced to rap in high school, Ezb started to make mix tapes at the age of 15.

Career

Beginning in the late 90's, Ezb started preforming at underground shows around Zynybec and occasionally Libek ná Lycyn. In 2003 he was invited to preform by an old schoolmate at Trjebian club event at the University of North Conelibek, being noticed by a Ejiska Records producer. In 2004 he was signed to the record label and the next year he released his debut album ẒỴṆỴ. The album was a huge success, with it's lead song Greenbians hitting no.1 on the Nelborne charts for 12 weeks.

In 2014 Ezb announcedhe would be starting his own record label, named Big Treb Labels, with a focus on Trjebian-language artists and music.

Personal life

Ezb was raised as an orthodox jew through his mothers side. In 2009 he revealed that he still considered himself to be jewish, though not orthodox. He often credits his conservative orthodox upbringing as a catalysis for his interest in music.

Ezb married Seketese actress Aalita Kjedjen in 2011 in a Jewish ceremony. Kjedjen had converted to judaisim in 2010. The couple had their first child in 2014.
