Government of Costa Madora
Executive
President
The President of Costa Madora is the head of state and government, as per Article 13 of the constitution. The president has all constitutional powers and exercises them directly or through subordinate officers, and has a determining role in foreign policy and in general directs the policy of the government. The President also serves as the de jure commander-in-chief of the Madorian Armed Forces, and Master of the Order of the Madorian Eagle.
The President is responsible for appointing many high officials in Costa Madora. These high officials include the provincial governors, chief justice and other judges of the supreme court and high courts on the advice of other judges, attorney general, comptroller and auditor general, and the ambassadors to other countries on the recommendations of the National Cabinet.

The Cabinet
The Federal Cabinet comprises of the President, cabinet ministers and equivalent government officials. Each minister is usually a member of the Chamber of Deputies. The Cabinet is headed by the President, advised by the Cabinet Secretary, who also acts as the head of the Madorian Administrative Service.
