Same-sex marriage stands equal to inter-sex marriages as no binary gender system exists in Kyldigardian culture to distinguish the two. Non-indigenous human citizens are offered the same de facto LGBT rights as Kyleth, although their communities are oftentimes less accepting of LGBT peoples. The indigenous human Scizc peoples of the Clastoclites are not governed directly by the Kyldigardian confederate government and therefore very little is known about their romantic and sexual practices.

It has only been recently that other forms of identity such as trans and multiple genders, that new legislation has been passed to protect these individuals.
