The Elkland Football League, abbreviated as LFE and also known as First League, is the primary league for New Elkland's professional association football teams. It consists of 20 clubs throughout New Elkland, all of which compete on regional levels and the annual championship in the LFE Cup, also known as the Antler Cup. Seasons run from November to March with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. The
LFE controls the prize money, regulations, and media rights to those competitions. Many players from LFE teams also compete on foreign teams and for the New Elkland national football team at the international level.
