Anna I Eist (Anna Caroline Hanna Kjerstin Eist b. 3 September 1987) is the Queen of the Constituent Kingdom of Gristol and co-Monarch of the United Kingdom and Constitutional Union of Gristol-Serkonos.

Anna was born in Pontiac-Bernadotte, as the eldest child of King Anders II Eist and Queen Charlotte of Ghant. She was educated at UGS Pontiac-Bernadotte, completing a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with Honours. She was about to join the Royal Gristo-Serkonan Air Force when King Anders II Eist was killed in a helicopter crash in the lower Osawanon mountains in the Crown Land of Kenhtè:ke in 2012.

She is the youngest Queen in modern Gristo-Serkonan history, ascending to the Rose Throne of Gristol and the Federal Thrones at the age of 22. In the Federal Thrones, she is the junior Monarch in the current Diarchy, with Grand Chief Tehwehron of the League of Serkonos being the senior.

Early life and education

Anna was born on 3 September 1987, at the Marin Palace in Pontiac-Bernadotte as the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Anders, Duke of Drachten and Princess Charlotte of Ghant. As the eldest child of the Duke of Drachten, Anna was created Countess of Oetken upon her birth. She has two other siblings, Princess Helene and Prince Torstein.

In 1991, King Aksel II Eist decided to abdicate in favour of his son Crown Prince Anders, the Duke of Drachten. Following King Anders II's ascension to the throne, Crown Princess Anna was granted the title Duchess of Drachten as heir apparent.

As heir apparent

Like his mother, Anders II clashed with the Grand Steward of the Royal Household Agency in his intent on giving his children born in the Royal Family of Gristol a chance to grow up while taking on their royal duties. A compromise was agreed upon following their much-publicized spat that was mediated by then-King Aksel II. As heir apparent to King Anders II, she went on her royal duties on a part-time capacity while attending schools in Pontiac-Bernadotte, away from the Gristol capital. Crown Princess Anna first attended the 9th District Elementary School in the Old Bernadotte District of Pontiac-Bernadotte. She later attended Prince Ulrik Eist Secondary School in Old Bernadotte District and graduated as a Valedictorian.

Following her graduation from secondary education, Crown Princess Anna begun her part-time royal duties. Her first royal duties was to accompany her father King Anders II and her uncle Prince Christoffer Eist, the Crown Representative in Pontiac-Bernadotte in the State Opening of the 43rd Parliament.

Reign

Anna was designated as Queen in 2012 after the helicopter carrying Anders II crashed in the lower Osawanon mountains during his Royal Tour in Serkonos.

Personal life

Anna met Hugo Rasmus, a Sociology undergraduate in the UGS Pontiac-Bernadotte in 2010. He is the second son of Baron Markus-Ernst Rasmus of Gautefall. Their engagement was announced following Anna's graduation in 2011. Her marriage with Hugo Rasmus caused some concern for members of the Royal Household Agency as well as Queen Charlotte. Their concerns were noted by King Anders II, who after he met Hugo, approved of their marriage despite their apprehensions.
