The 10-Mile Disarmament Zone is a DMZ covering a 10 mile stretch of land along the Velikoslav-Ostrozavan border. It was negotiated as one of the main points of the Treaty of Barderec, which ceded the city of Zarinsk and its surrounding territories to Velikoslavia. The DMZ is X kilometers long and 16 kilometers wide. Despite the lessening of tensions over the decades, the zone is still militarized and several incidents have occurred over the years.
