A União dos Mares or the Union of the Seas is a trading, finanical, and defense network in Gruppa4 - ruled by the current Imperador. The Union manages most trade and financial flows between the various security arrangments of Gruppa4, effectively a neutral intermeditary to manage coordination between powerful blocs. The Union's territory is quite fluid - officaly having sovereignity only over the capital Aveleda - leasing out most of it's territories from other countries as trading ports. Nevertheless it manages the largest naval fleet in all of Gruppa4. The Union has lax economic and trade policies - helping develop a vibrant capitalist economy and preserving the stability of investor assets - making it a base for most large multinationals in Gruppa4. The Union today controls the wealthiest regions per capita in the entire world, and is by it's wealthiest political zone.
