House of Svard
The House of Svard is the current ruling house (via different branches) of both the Midlonian and Commonwealth thrones. The House's longevity in both states is because of its progressive views towards both leadership, rule, and that of marriage.
Traditionally when an aristocratic house has shifted into power of the Midlonian Throne, they take on the name of Svard.
The two branches are further distinguished with the Commonwealth branch of the Svards adopting the name of the nation's new capital, Navarre after the Freethinker Declaration of Severence.
Midlonian Line (Svard)
The current ruling house of the Midlonian Throne is the House of Hykar-Svard.
Previous Houses of the Midlonian Throne were:
- House of Chilcott-Svard (1952-2059)
- House of Zouch-Svard (1863-1952)
- House of Sideris-Svard (1453-1863)
- House of Svard (1383-1453)
The current house of the Freethinker Royal Family is the house of Svard-Navarre. It is considered a cadet branch of the house of Hykar-Svard.
