Acronian Airways, known from its founding until 1948 as Trans-Acronian Airways and commonly known as Acro-Air or simply AA, is the flag carrier airline of the Free Union of Acronius, also serving as the nation's principal and largest air carrier by fleet size, destinations served, passengers carried, and revenue. It is also Acronius' oldest civilian air service. Founded in 1924 as a scheduled air mail and passenger service operating across the Northern Straits and eventually throughout the Free Union, the airline became a major company credited with many innovations that shaped the international airline industry, including the widespread use of jet aircraft, jumbo jets, and computerized reservation systems.

Acronian Airways is a founding member of the International Air Transport Association, the global airline industry association, as well as the Global Atlassian Sky Accord (GASA) along with Carlossian Airways and Orenair-Sde Dov Airlines. Globally distinguishable by its blue fleur-de-lys logo as well as the use of the word "Bluebird" in aircraft names and call signs, the airline was and continues to be a cultural icon in Acronius. Since 1999, its flagship terminal has been Terminal 1 of the Defense Metropolitan International Airport, located in the outskirts of Defense.
