The Geolughan-class destroyer (Daekanese: 거룩한, meaning "glorious") is a class of guided-missile destroyers of the Daekanese People's Army Navy. They are considered the first class of truly modern Daekanese guided-missile destroyers. A total of ten vessels were planned, but new technological advancements and the evolution of operational requirements led to the redesign of the class into the Yumyeonghan-class of destroyers. The sixth and seventh hulls that had been laid down by 1999 were modified to the new design
