The old Mokhaic runic script was a script used by the Mokhaic people from 800 BCE to the 6th century for the ancient Mokhaic language(s), surviving that far with Mokhaic religious scribes, but eventually getting replaced by the early Qazhshavan script in the said 6th century. Many enscriptions have been found in the script, and its largely understood, it worksa s a semi abjad, where the stem words are written fully and the suffixes are written only with consonants, and sometimes with vowels when they have parts that don't follow vowel harmony.

A cursive form of the script alos exist, it was used by scribes when writing on soft surfaces, like paper or papirus.
