The Legatian Navy (Legatian: Classem Legatium) is the maritime warfare component of the Armed Forces of the Legatian Republic, and is one of the six uniformed branches of the Armed Forces. Formed shortly following the Legatian Army's founding, the Navy is the world's largest in terms of tonnage, total vessels and total warships in service. The Navy's mission is to conduct maritime warfare and security operations in support of the sovereignty and national interests of the Legatian Republic, project and sustain force in global engagements, participate in peacekeeping operations, and ensure the security and safety of the citizens of the Republic.
