Sylvia Mélanie Wood is a Zamastanian-Shoassauan lawyer and politician who currently serves in Congressional Hall as the senator for Landeda's 3rd district. She has held a number of leadership positions on committees such as the tourism, immigrants, and language boards. Wood began her political career when she ran for mayor of Landeda in the 2013 Landeda municipal election, placing second behind eventual winner Sean Coderre. On March 20th, 2022, she announced her candidacy for President of Zamastan as a member of the Progressive Alliance Party for the 2022 election.
