His father was a businessman in Yons working as a middleman, coordinating the movement of textiles, food, dry goods and clothing out to smaller towns for distribution and operating several warehouses in the city. His father being self-taught and not having a formal eduacation, sent Ittore to an Athemian school at the age of six. At the age of eleven, he began assisting his father in the day to day activities of the company, while engrossing himself in studying the old Grand Queendom.
Apys entered the School of Law in Ceva in Apricus in 1802 at the age of sixteen and studied the law, business, and finance under Professor Tumeri. While at the School of Law in Ceva, he met several prominent students interested in Aprician politics and participated in dinner parties and discussions about philosophy and ethics. Family
In 1814, Apys moved to the outskirts of Athema and bought several farmsteads just outside the city, with plans to convert them into apiaries, a practice he learned about while studying in Apricus. Over the next few years he would focus on the Apiary while building a homestead on the new land he purchased. On September 22nd, 1815, Apys married Dentelle Baker, the 25 year-old daughter of a local Baker, Ittore relied on her heavily for navigating the local politicial scene. Dentelle's father would die later that year and the couple inherited her father's bakery, which Ittore quickly saw the benefit of and administered. In late 1816, Dentelle would give birth to their first child, Tenibre Apys.
