With a 2000 population census of 229,913,989 and an area of 699,781 km2 (270,187 sq mi), Mathoi is one of the most dense countries in Gentu. Consisting of 4 islands, the seat of the Mathoian government is located in Phenkung, and largest city in the country is Paklok. With a multicultural population and in recognition of the cultural identities of the major ethnic groups within the nation, Mathoi has fifteen official languages – Tāmtsuí (淡水語), Fungsân (鳳山語), Kalingku, Qakaw, Ulay, Namasial, !Korean, !Jeju, !Okinawan, !Romanian, !Italian, Veclian, Drevian, Brigian, !Slovenian

Mathoi is a Semi-presidential parliamentary federal republic with a bicameral parliament and government. President being the head of state, the Premier being the head of government, the Chief Justice being the head of the judiciary.The Vice President is elected in a direct election alongside the President as a running mate, but only as an advisor to the President, except in emergencies.[6] As a founding member of the Fourty Cities Forum, Mathoi is also a member of the Union of Realms, !Coffee-club.
