The Thearchy of the Great Kinh (Acanic: 𠘲秦光䆐, ḻá kính vang kwṳx), shortened to Kinh [ki:ɳ] or just simply Akai is a theocratic absolute monarchy in Southeastern Borea, taking up the whole of the subcontinent of the same name. It is surrounded wholly by the sea, with the Voragic in the east and the Mercorian in the west. It shares its only maritime border with Narmada. With a population of XX million, its largest island, XXX, holds about XX% of it, while La Kinh Ru, its formal metropole, holds XX%.
Akai is nominally theocratic absolute monarchy based around the divine power of the Thearch (𢂇命 tex riành), ruling with legitimacy both as sovereign and head of the Bin Krong (遍宮 "universal temple"), the country's Kiaist ecclessia. While the Thearch and the Bin Krong hold immense influence, the country's relative size has led to an informal confederation, with a socio-political plurality of with various constituent institutions coexisting under a centralized state economy helmed by the government in Qung. Such disconnect has been the point of sweeping reforms, particularly under the reign of Xiet Xak in order to modernize the state.
[history]
Despite its size and economic strength, Akai currently exists as an international pariah within the world stage, held under a cordon sanitaire both due to political developments during the Volatile Century and reports of blatant disregard for human dignity. With the exception of Min, Akai has been essentially isolated from the world for over a hundred years. Despite of this, its large areas of unspoiled natural environment and percieved exotic culture, Akai has been referred to as "The Great Sanctuary".

History
Government and politics
Akai is a absolute monarchy with strong theocratic aspects, in Monic political classification the country would be considered a sovereign empire (主國 tshiukwok, çǔkwṳx). Its sovereignty is based around the divine power of the sovereign, called the Thearch. Being an autocratic institution, there exists no formal form of delegating authority to the people, and political movements, if any exist only within the context of Celestial Court factionalism within the imperial court and the bureaucracy. Despite this, its unitary structure is coupled with devolved internal constituents being composed of a variety of polities (主團, çǔ thộnh) which wield considerable autonomy. Critics regard it as a “totalitarian autocracy with the sheen of a progressive, modern state”, though such definitions are disputed by other commentators as being a substantially more complex state (see below).
Modern Akai's state structure was developed out of the reform period of Thearch Xiet Xak (杰愙). It was a formalization of the increasingly de facto confederated structure of the empire, from turning the Celestial Court, the Thearch's personal advisory council, to a full-blown consultative assembly of state, to the delegation of "sovereign power" to corporate groups (the çǔ thộnh) which administer Akai's vast and sprawling institutions, owing to the country's massive area. It is coupled with the institutions of the Bin Krong clergy (bin thộnh), which operate in parallel to the çǔ thộnh. The Akai state, since the reforms are governed by the New Legalist (新法 şi pkọa) ideology, stressing a self-sufficient, conservative and microcosmic realm that forms the basis of imperial glory.
Monarchy
The Acanic monarchy, called the Thearchy (𢂇命 tex riành), is the paramount and central authority of the Acanic state. It is currently held by the lineage of La Kinh. While legally absolute and capable of acting in a state of exception; the Thearchs are bound by preceding custom, the wills and projects of their predecessors and the inertia of the state. The Thearch is seen as a living god, as the emanation of the Goddess Xanh Trin and the spiritual father of the Acanic peoples. This is reinforced by the Goddess' spheres, which represent clarity and self-realizing order, which the Thearch is said to embody through the state.
By the principle of transferred lineage, the Thearchic dynasties secondarily base their divinity through (physical and/or spiritual) descent to the first sovereign, Kánh Zwn (who also claimed to be an incarnation of the Goddess), which they claim that his consciousness pervades through that bloodline. This is represented by the idea of the Fourteen Faces, which say that all Thearchs either embody each of the 14 aspects of Kanh Zwn, and in turn of Xanh Trin. This complex divine status of the Thearch lends him paramount authority
As the currently reigning Thearch, Liannu, he fills the role of Thearch and serves the absolute executive, judiciary and religious authority within Akai. Due to his youth, he has two regents, his primary wife Grand Empress Thiaungtsu, his mother, and the Grand Chancellor Prince Sanfu, his uncle. They and the Grand Council of State largely govern the directly held territories of the Thearch. The Thearch has four viceroyalties based upon the ancient kingdoms which used to exist in the areas, with various families who rely upon a system of “twice royal” appointments in which the viceroys are the offspring of relationships with Consorts who are themselves descendants of non-castimonial marriages. These along with the commandaries largely manage the territories of the Thearch which he holds personally.

Dual power but its between mayors and jesuits

Demographics
The religion of XXX is the second largest religion in Akai, being most prevalent in the more cosmopolitan northern regions.
Culture and society
Due to Akai's relative isolation, Monic culture in the Kinh islands developed radically different due to its exchange with the Boreolahudic XXX and the aboriginal XXX cultures. [...] The government is increasingly making efforts to preserve and sustain the current culture and traditions of the country.
Akai society and modern Akai culture remains deeply religious and conservative, still steeped in centuries-old traditions and a deep insistence towards community and a higher morality. Following the principle of "celebrating good and forbidding wrong", there are considerable limitations and prohibitions on behaviour and dress which are strictly enforced both legally and socially, often more so than in wider East Borea. Daily life is dominated by religious observance, with ancestor worship being an integral part. State institutions and religious practice are intertwined, and the sovereign person have been a focal point of folk worship.
Despite such reactionary attitudes, East Borea's general divergent views on sexuality has led to a degree of sexual permissiveness that would be seen as "liberal" by western standards.
Arts and aesthetics
The creative arts are an upheld value in Akai culture.

Government and politics
Minh Vuat is a republic, with the joint offices of the Minh Chief Preceptor of Rites (informally known as the King, ong-chu) and the Vuatese Paramount Chief of Chiefs (liong-chu)--collectively referred to as the Chancellery of Minh Vuat (nn̄g-chai-siong)--serving as the dual heads of state.
Minhvuatese society, and in turn its government, are rooted in the organizational unit of the node.
Things to adapt from Mingwok
- diarchy
- council of state (see council of jurists)
- pseudo-federal structure
Things to adopt from Min
- pseudo-constitutional order (joint fundamental decree, held as the utmost principle by the council)
- assembly government
- religious undertones of government office
- a predominantly judicial government
- cities as hong kongs
New stuff
- ripping off old liothidia with the cammarillas (in this case, "joint development authorities")
- ripping off razaria with interior communities as synoecist institutions ("nodes", note to above point)

The Vashapa mountains which the country stands on has special significance to the XXX faith. Its capital city, Alash, home to the holiest and largest Ankunist temple, is the seat of the Hierophant (ਪੇਸ਼ਪਾਸ਼ pš̍əpāš̍, Tughvani źapaş), making it the principal center of XXX and the other XXX religions. The country is visited annually by about XXX million devotees to enact an annual pilgrimage called the Hakvishat (ਗ਼ਗਵ ਜ਼ਸ਼ਤਹ ġog° ziš̍ətχ°, "path of praise").
The Vashapa mountains was a center of the Great Khaganate of All Under The Sun, the city of Alash originally founded by the native Artakhve people as a shrine to the God Anakun (known to them as Anamara)
