The Daesung Group is a Joseon's conglomerate that specializes in electronics, semiconductors, logistics, and the aerospace industry. It is known to be the fourth-largest conglomerate in Joseon by sales and the second-largest in the semiconductor and aerospace industries.
Starting from an automobile manufacturing company in 1904, the Daesung Group expanded into the electronics, insurance, logistics, and aerospace industries as its size grew dramatically in the 1960s. Today, the Daesung Group is one of the largest family-owned conglomerates in Joseon. Until 2031, Chairman Jeong Gyu-Hyon owned the Daesung Group, but the owner of the company changed when he inherited the majority of his holdings to his daughter, Jeong Ha-Jin.
