Lønnsjø is a Region of Greater Normark that lies in the northwestern parts of the country. The capital and largest city is Kiinavuopio, with a population of 157,000. Other cities of note in the region are Nordlys and Vestheim.
Lønnsjø used to be a part of the fylke of Vapmi, but after the 1975 reform was the fylke split into two regions, the western part with a majority of normarkians became the region of Lønnsjø and the eastern part with a majority population of the indigenous people of the area became Østvapmi and with more autonomy.
