The Battle of Crescent Bay was a pivotal moment in the reignition of Exponential nationalism following the nation's defeat in the Second Fascist War. During the battle, Imperial forces were able to expel occupying forces and prevent them from reestablishing a foothold on Hesperidesia. The battle was heralded as a turning point throughout the empire, and drew both praise and condemnation alike from many international observers.
