The Thaumas was a heavy tank fielded by the Republic of Syara during the Siduri War.
The second largest tank fielded by the Army of the Syaran Republic after the Athos, the Thaumas was designed to fufill the role of heavy armor within Measured Battle Doctrine. Tanks like the Thaumas were assigned to heavy mechanized and armored divisions designed to engage in large scale combat against other armored formations. At the time of its introduction it was one of the most powerful and armored tanks in Tyran, though by the end of the war it had fallen behind other tank developments and its doctrinal role obsolete.
