August Epoch is a Vitosian drum and bass band founded in 2005. The group is notable for its distinctive sound, mixing electronic music with hard rock and covering a wide range of genres including industrial rock and electronic rock.

History

The band was founded in 2005 within Oceanview College in Kataveza, Ciunia, Vitosium by Cody Ericksson and Johnny Corvas, who were attending for music theory. They had approached Griffin Araiva, a graphic design student, upon hearing his voice during a college festival. Together, the three aimed, at first, to be a hard rock band. Three months later, Ericksson and Corvas approached Alec Dobrescu and Jade Morley, who were fellow music theory students, about the prospect of an electronic band. While Dobrescu and Morley initially declined, they changed their minds after hanging with them and Araiva for a couple months.
