Paz I of Bearstin, commonly known as Paz the Immortal was the first King of the First Bero Dynasty, and first King of Bearia, and a member of the Vixla Dynasty. He was born on the Old Bero Islands in the city of Bral, and moved to the Aydinrian Empire when he was a young boy. He spent most of his young years as a member of the Bero Diaspora within the Empire, and was trained as a warrior from a young age. His father, Paz Vixla of Copad was the Chief of the Diaspora, which gave him access to the Aydinirian Court and though considered to be a Barbarian, gave him access to Aydinriian Royals.
When he was in his teens, his father died of disease, and he took up a position of the Diaspora Council which represented the Beros in the Royal Court. He came to serve in the Aydinirian Military, as most Beros did, and his battle prowess and successes saw him rise in the ranks until he became a guard in the Royal Palace. Though a barbarian, his loyalty to the Aydinriian cause set him apart from most Beros and he was given the position of Commander in the Bero section of the Aydinirian Army.
At the Battle of Hwarthas, he organized the betrayal of the Aydinirian Forces and set up his capital in Hwarthas where he declared the start of the First Bero Empire with himself as King. Around the time of that battle, he married an Aydinirian Princess from a low ranked house, and bore children. With their mothers blood, he declared that his Empire was Aydinirian, though this was disputed by the Aydinirian Pretender Kingdoms.
