Viras National University, or VNU, is a flagship research university of Fratanica. Founded in 1884, the university is considered to be one of the most prestigious and well-funded universities in Fratanica. There are a total of over 120 departments spanning 5 schools within VNU, with one central campus and multiple satellite campuses scattered throughout Viras.
The university was established in 1884 by Guy Chéron. Since then, the university has held much renown throughout Fratanica and around the world.
Many notable alumni have come from Viras National University, including multiple presidents, prime ministers, scholars, innovators, and other well-known figures.
