This article lists the political parties of Alsland.
History
Since the country's independence in 1919 Alsland has had a strong Multi-party system. From 1919 until the country's occupation the country's 3 major parties were the Centre-right Nationalist Party, the Centrist Liberal Party and the centre-left Labour Party. All three were banned following the surrender of Alsland. The Folkssenaat was elected under a Single transferable vote system leading to a rise of smaller parties and provincial parties. The 1939 Legislative election led to the rise of the Conservative Party which was the largest party in Delland. Soon two political groups formed. The centre-right National Bloc made up of the Conservative Party, the Sotirian Democratic Front, the Justice Party and the Sotirian Union. The centre-left Progressive Alliance was comprised of the Socialist Party, Social Democrats in Delland, Kirenian People's Party and the Social Democratic Alliance.
In 2021 the Together for the Republic bloc was formed and comprised of The Centre, the Green Party, the Swathish People's Party, the Weranian People's Party, Radical, the Vox Alsland and other minor centrist parties.
