Hanna Nicoletta Doria (born 7 June 1986) is a commanding officer of the Cacertian Royal Navy as well as an armaments developer and naval architect for the Royal Shipbuilders of Cacerta. She is the only daughter of serving Grand Admiral Elettra Doria and a prominent member of House Davion. A strong advocate of new technologies, Hanna was one of the main contributors to the design of the Alayna Cabriani-class support battleships and assisted in pioneering the development of the RN-MAN Tridente anti-ship missile.

She served in the Nalayan Civil War aboard the HMS Isara Trento and was among the wounded when the ship was struck by a glancing hit from an anti-ship missile. In 2014, Hanna achieved the rank of Captain First Grade at the age of 28, making her the youngest person in Cacerta ever to achieve the rank. She acted in support of Coalition Forces during the Midsummer War as commanding officer of the HMS Anelyn Trento in 2015 and was later transferred to the HMS Arabella Rassi in early 2016 to perform her shakedown cruise. After her promotion to Rear Admiral in 2019, Hanna was moved to the Office of Naval Intelligence where she continues her work as director of the Andrea Doria Technical Analysis Center.

Early Life

Hanna Nicoletta Doria was born in Fumicino, Lombardo on 7 June 1986 as the only daughter of Elettra Doria and Rino Dinapoli, both military parents. At the time of her birth, her mother had been serving as the executive officer aboard the the Andrea Doria-class battleship HMS Natalia Barberi and had been sent home on medical leave for her pregnancy. While on an aerial exercise, Hanna's father was killed in a training accident when she was still very young. Hanna was effectively raised by her widowed mother, an active duty member of the Royal Navy, until 1992 when she entered East-Side Primary School.

Education

Hanna was noted by East-Side for being exceptionally intelligent despite her young age. She graduated from Primary School a year early and applied for attendance at the city's Technological Academy for secondary students. Due to her entrance exam scores, Hanna would be redirected to Fumicino's University Board who would administer a standard University exam. The results dictated that she could pass over Secondary School and apply immediately for a University level education.

Much to her mother's surprise, Hanna began attending the Fumicino Naval Academy during the start of the 2002 academic year majoring in naval architecture and marine engineering. She is well-known as one of the youngest students ever to be admitted and spent much of her time analyzing modern-day naval tactics. During her 2005 school year, Hanna joined an exchange program and attended the Royal Naval Academy at Göteborg in Acrea. She was a member of ANF's naval war-game committee and graduated top of her class from the Academy in 2006.
