The 2019 Eurth Summer Olympics, known also as Bogd Gioro 2019, was an International Multi-Sport event in the tradition of the Eurth Olympics taking place in the Worker's Republic of Fulgistan. The Bogd Gioro 2019 Games occurred between July 24th and August 9th, 2019, with General Secretary Tomur Almas opening the games during the Opening Proceedings.[1]

Bidding

The Bidding Campaign for the 2019 Summer Olympic Games started in late November 2018 with the International Olympic Committee of Eurth directing cities throughout Eurth to put forward a bid to host the Summer Games. Within three weeks, three cities expressed interest, all of whom submitted bids for consideration. The IOCE convened during in early January 2019 to vote on the three proposals for the Summer Games, with Bogd Gioro later announced as the home to the 2019 Games with 54 of 100 possible votes.[2]

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony occurred on June 24th inside the Wang Kaifeng Olympic Stadium at the heart of the Olympic Zone. It began with opening remarks by IOCE Chairman Wetzel and Fulgistani General Secretary Tomur Almas. The athletes were introduced in an electronic beat filled march, with Fulgistan's home team getting the most applause and cheer from the crowd. The highlight of the wide-ranging performances showcasing the very best of Fulgistani culture was an elaborate act of horse acrobats, where riders would jump from one horse to another while in motion.
