Sidney is a city in the Upper Slopeland district of Zian Province, Zamastan, and a member of the Tofino-Arinals Metropolitan Area, located roughly 40 miles northeast of the center of Tofino. It was founded by Major-General Richard Sidney on the northern bank of the Grouse River in 1828 as a riverside army camp and logging site, and continued in that role until it was incorporated as a city. As of 2022, it has a population of around 539,000, making it the 11th-largest city in Zamastan.
