The Social Democratic Party is a centre-left political party in Istastioner. Today, the party is the largest in Istastioner. The Social Democratic Party also has the largest number of councillors in the local authorities and received 37% of the votes in the 2038 election.

Ideologically, the party adopts a centre-left position both economically and socially, defending the nationalization of important sectors, the establishment of a welfare state, progressive taxes and it is in favor of LGBT and pro-immigration guidelines.
