Project 11431 is the official designation of a redesign of Elatian XXX-class aircraft carriers by the Itayana Navy. The original design was conceived as a as a hybrid aircraft-carrying guided missile cruiser capable of a hybrid aircraft-guided missile first-strike from direct following as well as being a versatile flagship for the task forces of Elatian Navy. Two ships were laid down, but the Elatian Great Famine of 1984-1987 prevented them from being completed.
The second ship in the class was put on hold at 35% completion before being purchased in 1996 by the Temple of Yanbango to serve as the future flagship and as an experimental aircraft carrier for the nascent Itayana Navy, as well as a symbol of Itayana national recovery. Extensive remodeling and reconstruction efforts couldn't begin until 2003 due to the lack of funding, and continued for over a decade. As such, the design incorporated many changes from experience and expertise accumulated by technical missions of the Temple in Sante Reze and Zacapican and is considered a separate project. The vessel entered service in 2015.
